Our Plans for 2024

Alpine-X is excited about the future of our Indoor Snowsports Resorts! Here’s a brief look at our plans for 2024:

Alpine-X Washington DC | Fairfax Peak Project | Washington DC Area
We recently signed a one-year extension to our exclusivity agreement for the Fairfax Peak site and we are diligently working to advance this project. Fairfax Peak is in Fairfax County in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. With more than 10 million people living within 100 miles of Fairfax Peak, we think this location is an ideal place to develop an Alpine-X resort. Our goal is to position ourselves to submit a zoning package late in 2024. We are also working with local and national partners that we believe can bring valuable experience and resources to the project.

Alpine-X Central Texas | Austin Texas Project
We have entered into a letter of intent with a project landowner for a potential Alpine-X resort in the Austin, TX area. The Austin metropolitan area is one of the fastest-growing in the country and is attracting many other active entertainment experiences that will complement an Alpine-X resort. Additionally, the Austin area attracts more than 27 million visitors annually. So, in addition to drawing from the local population, we can also provide a unique venue for visitors to explore and enjoy.

Texas is an incredibly strong winter sports market — in fact, Texas has the second most skiers and third most snowboarders of any state in the country. Since we believe Texans will embrace two Alpine-X resorts, we’re also continuing with our site selection process for a second location, focusing primarily on the North Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex) area. We have seen and studied several locations that might be suitable for an Alpine-X resort, and we are working to identify the site options that might work best for us.
